V5.70 Poor marker move performance
On switch from XP to a more powerful Win 7 machine, I'm finding that auto-repeat marker move with preview (e.g. SHIFT+RightArrow) is slower and unsteady.
Without preview it is fast only if the window is small. The window flickers on each step, as if being entirely repainted.
Any ideas?

Has anyone found a good item for use as line comment?
Has anyone found a NOOP Batch Processing item that is good as for use as a line comment? I've tried Channel Selection Stereo, but this is misleading and not always a NOOP. I've tried a chain containing just a Change Volume 0dB (a NOOP), but this can generate a warning, e.g. "Nothing is selected...

Online XML editor for GoldWave.xml?
Can anyone recommend an online XML editor that can successfully edit the GoldWave.xml file? Those I have tried have various flaws e.g. http://xmlgrid.net/ fails to preserve the BOM. This is needed for moving batch process presets from one portable GW installation to another in a production environme...

Re: Match volume of intro
OK, thanks Chris.
Please take a vote from me for adding to Match Volume an option for this. E.g. a checkbox '[ ] Apply to full sound" whilst calculating still only from the selection.

Re: Command key for comment edit?
I can't seem to duplicate those key problems on my computer. Both ' and # work correctly. Perhaps it is a keyboard/localization issue? Is it a standard US keyboard layout? Input language is English (United Kingdom) - United Kingdom : http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/394/mypk.png If I change to Engl...

Match volume of intro
Is there any way I can get Match Volume to change the whole track volume such that the average volume of the first 10 seconds is the value given? Perhaps with some Batch Process trickery?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Command key for comment edit?
Interesting. It is definitely single quote on my system (in the context menu too). How that is different on your computer is a mystery. Have you assigned the single quote to another command using Options | Keyboard ? No. Confirmed by the fact typing ' in this browser is fine. Another problem is tha...

Re: Protecting silent track from Autotrim
The only thing I can recommend is somehow exclude the silent tracks from processing. If they're FLAC; they should be a lot smaller Good idea. GW BP doesn't have a size filter .... but CMD does, and rather than move the files out of the source folder I can give GW an M3U and exclude them from that. ...
