Distortion

Post by sleepyguy1717 »

Ok, so I need to save a sound in MP3. I'm working with Goldwave 5.14. However, whenever I try to save anything in MP3 format it gets extremely low in that dragged out kinda sound. But I can save in Ogg and its fine. The problem is I need to save this paticular file in MP3. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanx so much!

Do you have the proper encoders (codecs) installed?

There have been quite a few threads covering this topic, but I could find only this one ussing "Search".

Make sure you have the LAME MP3 encoder installed. The default Windows MP3 encoder does not appear to be working well with GoldWave v5.14.
