hi,
With goldwave 5.70, it is pretty userful because i can send-open a video file with it and work&saveAs the track.
But with goldwave 6.23 i can't anymore, the openned track is crashy without a bit of real sound, like a big bug.
what is the problem ?
here what i got when i open with g5.70 :

now, here what i got with gw6 :

i check the codec of the audio track, and it is AC3.
so,how can i solve that problem ?

GoldWave doesn't directly support AC3 but maybe Chris can help with a 3rd party CODEC.
The newer version of GoldWave is a 64-bit application and it's probably using a different CODEC.
Recently, I opened an AC3 in GoldWave (which I may not have tried on that computer) and my results weren't as bad as yours but I got some weird volume variations.
My solution was to convert to WAV with Audacity (and it's optional FFmpeg import/Export library).

The status bar shows DirectShow. It should show Media Foundation. AC3 files are supported in Windows 10.
In GoldWave try using Options | Plug-n | File | GoldWave* and make sure that Media Foundation is enabled and DirectShow is not to see if that helps. The .ac3 or .mkv file type should not be in the avoid list. Also try the latest GoldWave update.

maybe the problem comes from the 5-channel audio track.
Problem not solved.

Can you provide a link to a sample file for testing?

The sample file opens and plays perfectly in GoldWave v6.24 on Windows 10 on my system. The older version of GoldWave only supports stereo decoding of the file. Perhaps the decoders in Windows 7 do not fully support multichannel decoding.

GoldWave v5 decodes stereo only. GoldWave v6 tries to decode multichannel, which the decoder is failing to do correctly. You can use v5 to decode the file to stereo, or you can use GoldWave v6 on Windows 10 to decode the file to multichannel.
