I've been using GoldWave 6.41 - and just updated to 6.45. I note that the noise reduction feature is working very differently. I use the setting "Light hiss removal" quite a bit, and in this new version of GoldWave, the output waveform audio level is reduced by 50% or more. It did not work this way in version 6.41, and prior versions. The output level stayed roughly similar to the initial waveform level. Any ideas on what is going on here? Thanks for responding.
To make sure I was seeing an issue with GoldWave 6.45, I rolled back to GoldWave version 6.41 - and now I when I use "Noise Reduction - Light hiss removal" it does not cut the audio level by 50 percent. Seems like an issue to me in the newest version. I wonder what changed here?

There does seems to be a problem with the amplitude. It looks like a minor fix for the next update.
Thank you for confirming the issue. I'd be happy to test any proposed fix.
