Feature request: Floating point Playback Rate?

Post by FBX »

So I don't know if this is possible or not, but I was wondering if we can have the option of setting playback rate in fractional Hz? I know it's a weird request, but I'm testing the timing crystal on various SNES consoles, and not having access to floating point playback rates means I have to round off to the nearest Hz.

I seriously doubt the Windows drivers support that. The sample rate field in a WAV file header is an integer and I assume that's true for other formats too.

Indeed I just found out it is integer-based, so you can't do fractional sample rates. No biggy. My graph results are close enough. Thanks though!
