Malwarebytes
When I tried to download Goldwave from goldwave.ca, Malwarebytes 4.3.0 Premium displayed a "don't download this suspicious file" warning. On virustotal.com, MWB is the only company, of 71, flagging the download. virustotal states that MWB detected "Comodo Valkyrie Verdict". Does anyone know why MWB is warning that the download of Goldwave is suspicious?
Re: Malwarebytes
Who knows? I didn't get any warning from Windows Defender, either before or after installation. 6.54 runs fine.
This wouldn't be the first time MB has misidentified malware. I can't figure how MB got its great reputation.

I don't want to read the manual either, but, then, it isn't my problem, is it?

Re: Malwarebytes
Unfortunately false positives are a frustrating problem. GoldWave software is clean and safe.
There should be a legal requirement for anti-virus companies to contact software vendors before making such damaging false claims, especially for software that is digitally signed by the vendor.
