when I try to meld my project to a wmv file, it goes through part of the process, then gets an error at around 70%. It says:
"Cannot create swap chain for 'TCanvasD2D' "

Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?

Try restarting your computer to rule out any display driver instability. If that doesn't help, try melding using a different file type to see of that works.
