Testing 'Meld to Project' for a clip from large project

Post by Vidman »

Sorry, for the title being a bit vague.....

Okay, so I have a project that's a couple of hours long.
I want to make sure certain parts of it are synched correctly, so just need to pick a start point and an end point that are just a couple of minutes apart from each other.

Question is simply: How?

I can do start of project to a point, somewhere after start to end, but not two points that are neither start nor end.

If the project contains many smaller section, then you can just select the sections you want to meld and choose the "Selected sections" setting when melding. Otherwise there isn't a quick way and you'd need to split the larger sections.

That sounds good. Thanks.

I could split a section, select that section to meld it, then click "Undo" to unsplit it. Yes?
