Hello Chris,
I have to convert about 8000 short audiofiles. The conversion includes a vst-plugin (izotop declick). In a single conversion I noticed a tail of about a second of silence. Thats ok for me if it's an the end of the file.
To speed up the process (single instance needs about 4 hours) I used 2 goldwave instances to do the conversion in parallel. (with the right selection in source-file). The conversion-process seems to be ok and need about the half time.
But if I checked the converted files I noticed drops (silent) in the beginning of several files.
Question: Is it not save to do such a conversion in parallel?
Thanks in advance
Frank

There shouldn't be any difference. Try the latest GoldWave update to see if that works better.
