VideoMeld timeline and video preview shape is not useful and good at all

Post by akerman »

dear developers VideoMeld timeline and video preview shape is not useful and good at all. The timeline and video preview shape that is used and liked by those who use video editing programs is the one in the attached picture. Timeline and video preview as in the attached picture It would be great if it was on VideoMeld. There aren't even frame-by-frame forward and Back buttons on VideoMeld Image

If VideoMeld looked just like all the other video editors, why bother even creating VideoMeld? Having the choice to use something different is a good thing because some people think and work differently. The layout you provided may work well on a wide screen, but probably not so well on a regular screen.

Frame forward/back buttons might be a good addition. However the actual frame rate is not set until the video is melded/saved and videos within the project may have widely different frame rates.

We'll see what we can do the make VideoMeld more configurable. Having the choice to set it up the way you prefer is also a good thing.

Thanks for the feedback!
